Young Writer's Workshop

Join us for a state-wide two-day East vs West writing workshop for budding middle school authors! Meet with like-minded middle school students and learn from some great Nebraska authors. The Eastern workshop will take place at the Nebraska History Museum (131 Centennial Mall N) in Lincoln. The workshop will run from 9 am to 4 pm both days. Students in the Eastern workshop will meet and learn from UNL English professor and award-winning poet Grace Bauer and Richard Graham, an Associate Professor at UNL whose work focuses on using comics and graphic novels as educational tools. Registration is $50 per attendee. Scholarships are available, contact Sharon Kennedy for more information. This workshop is for middle school students (grades 6-8) only.
