New York: Glass Gilding ~ An Introduction to Verre Églomisé

A one day Intensive Workshop that introduces students to the basics of verre églomisé & the artistry of gilded mirrors and special effects of gilded glass. Focus is placed on creating a successful foundation between glass and leaf, from gold and white gold to genuine silver and other metal leafs in achieving a balance between strength of bond and brilliancy in appearance. Materials, gold leaf, and use of studio tools included.
