Donation-based women's yoga classes where all experience levels, body types, and ages are welcome. Bring a mat and a smile!
The intention behind these ladies-only, donation-based classes is to provide a comfortable, judgment-free space for all women to practice yoga. As women, so much of our lives are defined by our bodies and we become so aware of how we move and present our bodies. As Muslims, there is a deep connection between movement and intention in our prayer. This class is designed to be a space for you, so you can enjoy your movement of mind and body. All ages, bodies, experience levels are welcome. We only ask that you bring a mat and a smile!
This series is led by Shireen Haq, who became a registered yoga teacher in 2016. She has taught in private and group classes and at community events. Her classes are designed to be inclusive and of service to the community. Her study of wellness includes a Bachelors and Masters in Public Health from the University of Texas.
