Yoga for Trauma Recovery helps individuals who have experienced a trauma (or multiple traumas) find relief from post traumatic stress symptoms and begin to heal their nervous systems over time. In the class we use tools for building resiliency including: Breathing, Meditation, Yoga, Guided Rest, and Gratitude. These tools help us breathe easy, focus clearly, move freely, rest deeply, and remember what is working in our lives. As a result, participants become more resilient in the face of both ordinary and extraordinary challenges. All are welcome to this class. It is suggested that you wear comfortable clothes that allow for movement. Feel free to bring a water bottle. $12 online, $15 at the door. *Veterans pay $5.00 at the door.
