This hour and a half class gives students plenty of time to arrive into each posture, stretch the connective tissue, as well as build strength.
35 minutes focuses on grounding through yang movement as well as stillness. Postures and their variations of introduced so that students can take 4 to 5 minutes in exploring and flowing through them, moving and releasing with their breath at their own pace. Options for balance postures are incorporated.
35 minutes of longer, yin stretches then challenge student to release into stillness. Inversions are brought in during this portion of the class, before relaxing into a long savasana (students have the option to remain for the hour long meditation class that starts at 7).
Experience in pranayama and bandhas required, but class is suited for all ages, levels of experience and body-types.
