Building strength, the mind/body connection and flexibility, are just a few of the realms we will explore through a mindful vinyasa flow to 90s R&B, alternative music, reggae, jazz with a splash of meditative sounds. A mixed level class that offers modifications and adjustments based on one's own practice. Postures both powerful and restorative send the student traveling through asanas linked to their inhales and exhales (Vinyasa Flow, Yang) while the Yin side of the practice promotes openness of the lower body by holding asanas for up to two minutes. Class ends with pranayama and meditation.

The Instructor: Shakira Scott, affectionally known as "Your Local Yoga Dealer", is a private and group yoga instructor specializing in Vinyasa and Yin Yoga and guided meditation.

Shakira currently teaches yoga and meditation at a handful of gyms/studios, schools, retail spaces, corporate offices, retreats, open spaces in the state of California, coining the title, ‘Your Local Yoga Dealer’.
