Participants will assemble toiletry bags that will later be delivered by volunteers to Meals on Wheels
homebound clients. You will have the opportunity to assemble small toiletry bags as a team, followed by
creating cards that will also be delivered to Meals on Wheels’ clients. A card and toiletry bag is always
well-received by clients who are homebound and oftentimes isolated. The small items help clients in
case they run out of shampoo, soap, etc. and inspirational greeting cards are often hung on the windows
and fridges of clients
Sock Puppet Project
Particpiants can "make giving happen" by building sock puppets which will be donated to children in need at Ronald McDonald House of WNY, Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo and Project Connect.
