Bring your mind in tune with your body as we warm up with Yogi Gaby Poy's, Vinyasa sequence that will flow through sun salutations, heart openers, balancing postures, and core workout while drawing on our focus and breathing to unite our body and mind. Yoga is the perfect balance for the Muay Thai Kickboxing. After a quick coconut water break, kickboxing will be led by instructors Nuckolls and Bingham. We will focus on the fundamentals of kickboxing the first few classes. Proper guard, footwork and stricking is the basis for everything that follows. All classes will have a fitness, self defense and technique component to them. We will wind down with some candlelit restorative "feel good" stretches and mini-massages.
Yoga and Kickboxing blend perfectly together. Yoga brings strength and length to your core and extremities. Mindfulness of one's breathing will prepare us for the striking and defensive lesson that will come with the Muay Thai instruction.
