Writers of the Future Awards Event

Winners of the Writers and Illustrators of the Future Contests will be honored at the 33rd Annual L. Ron Hubbard Achievement Awards Event being held April 2, 2017 in Los Angeles. The Oscar-style awards event celebrates this year's winners in the L. Ron Hubbard Writers and Illustrators of the Future contest. The contest, one of the most prestigious writers and illustration competitions now in the 33rd year, is judged by some of the premier names in speculative fiction.
Writing Contest judges who will be attending include: Kevin J. Anderson, Doug Beason, Gregory Benford, Orson Scott Card, David Farland, Eric Flint, Nina Kiriki Hoffman, Nancy Kress, Todd McCaffrey, Rebecca Moesta, Larry Niven, Nnedi Okorafor, Jerry Pournelle, Tim Powers, Mike Resnick, Robert J. Sawyer.
Illustrating Contest judges who will be attending include: Echo Chernick, Lazarus Chernick, Ciruelo, Dave Dorman, Larry Elmore, Val Lakey Lindahn, Sergey Poyarkov, Rob Prior
All winners will be available after event to autograph copies of the newly released Writers of the Future volume.

There are no age requirements to attend. But you must RSVP to JoniL@authorservicesinc.com or go to website or FB page.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Complimentary vallet parking. 

What can I bring into the event?

There will be light refreshments after the event.
