Short-short prose can be a thrill to read or write, but it's so often overlooked for more common forms. And what is it exactly? A prose poem? Flash fiction? A short-short story? In this workshop, we'll look at examples of short-short prose, both older and newer, to examine the many ways brief forms can address a subject, whether realistic or surreal, poetic or narrative. We'll do some writing, too. You'll leave with a deeper appreciation for short-short prose, and ideas for new short-short forms you can use moving forward!
