Why is this class free?

Class is free because we wanted to eliminate the main reason most people don’t go to the gym. Memberships are expensive and most people don’t have a plan when they hit the gym. We will teach you transferable skills that you can apply to your training.

What kind of class is this?

NAWC is a combination of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) & Yoga. You will increase your strength using body weight movements and equipment like slam balls, speed ladders and jump ropes.

What should I bring?

Please bring a yoga/fitness mat and wear comfortable sneakers. Please arrive 15 minutes before class so you can sign a waiver, get settled and meet the rest of the group. Guests arriving 5 minutes after class starts must complete 20 burpees after class ends.

Is there free parking?

Yes, free parking is available in the parking lot next to Excel Academy of South Shore. The entrance is next to New Spiritual Light Missionary Baptist Church on the corner of 76th & South Shore Drive. Drive into the parking lot and park in the available spots next to the school.

How do I get in the building?

You will enter the building through Door 5 (parking lot entrance) or Door 1 (South Shore drive entrance). Please call (312) 823-9289 for assistance.
