Woodworking 101 is a class where you learn the basics of woodworking. Participants will pick from options of old growth, barn, and mid-century lumber to create a custom table. No need to bring 2x4’s hanging out your honda, because materials are included. There are two options for this class: a 4-week and a 5-week option. 4-Week Option: Participants build a flat surface. Come in having an idea of what you want to make (i.e., table top, headboard, shelves, wood replica vinyl record). 5-Week Option: Participants design and complete a custom table including a base (i.e., workbench, dining table, coffee table). Table designs will be approved by the instructor on your first day. Important Details: Please note tables should be no more than 10 square feet.
