Woodturning Class: Pens

Woodturning is a blast, especially when you can use your creations. Pens are a great way to learn woodturning and can make great gifts. In the 3 hours we will cover the basics of using a lathe, a variety of tools used for roughing and shaping, different finishes that can be used, creating different styles of pens, and how to continue on your own. All participants will create 2 pens to take home with them that night. 

You'll want to bring the right clothing, a pencil, your turning tools and a face shield (if you have some). All lathes, tools, materials, and wood finish are supplied. A variety of woods to choose from will be provided for your pens.
