As women in the business world we face all types of diversity. Whether it be ethnically, culturally or socially. It is important to interact with diverse people in all aspects of our lives not just in the workforce. In order to be culturally, ethnically and socially diverse we must be able to communicate with many different kinds of people. We must self educate ourselves on different types of diversities that we will encounter within our every day life.

The Houston region has grown more racially and ethnically diverse with small declines in segregation. Therefore, we must be ready to take on the challenges that come with working in a diverse society. I will be talking about practical ways we can become more open and comfortable with interacting with people who are different.

Dera Nassri is a wife and mother of five. She was born in Pasadena, California but resides in Montgomery Texas. After attending LSU, she received her real estate license in the state of Texas. As a real estate specialist and investor, she specializes in investment properties and buyers, and listing properties with Zarco properties located in The Woodlands, Texas. Dera's husband is of Syrian descent.
