Women in Energy & Renewables Networking Happy Hour (June 2017)

This month we have special guests!  Chaun MacQueen, program director of Solar 4R Schools, will be giving us a sneak peak of their rebranding! If you like clean energy, STEM education and workforce development you are going to LOVE what the organization soon to be formerly known as Solar 4R Schools is up to. We will also be joined by a representative from the location chapter of WRISE (Women of Renewable Industries & Sustainable Energy) - formerly WOWE - to tell us more about WRISE and opportunities for collaboration.

POWER PNW monthly meet-ups provide a welcoming and casual opportunity to meet peers, share ideas and opportunities, and educate colleagues about projects and initiatives of interest to the group. All women and men working in a field related to energy, solar or other renewables and interested in building a more diverse energy sector are invited, as are students and developing professionals who are looking for perspectives on joining the clean energy sector. 

POWER PNW is focused on building a community of women in energy and renewables and increasing inclusiveness through initiatives around workforce develoment, community building, and empowerment.
