Women Build LA/OC

Welcome to the second annual Women Build Los Angeles/Orange Counties conference for women in skilled construction Trades.

We'll kick off with a welcome reception Friday evening at Laborers Local 1309, 3971 Pixie Ave. in nearby Lakewood. Saturday, June 1, we'll start in the morning at the quad of Building QQ with breakfast and "Tools of the Trades" interactive exhibits. Then, share with your sisters in our seminars and panels on topics like surviving apprenticeship and becoming a leader in your union.

This conference is free of charge and open to all who are currently working in the Building and Construction Trades, or interested in starting a Trades career. Come learn about a solid job where women are paid the same as men and have the opportunity to build our cities and counties.
