Women's Bean Project Tour - FREE
Celebrating 30 Years of Transforming Lives through Social Enterprise Women's Bean Project is a nonprofit social enterprise in Denver that believes all women have the power to transform their lives through employment. We hire women who are chronically unemployed and we teach them to work by making nourishing products that we sell across the U.S. Through their work at Women's Bean Project, women learn to stand tall, find their purpose and break the cycle of poverty. Every month we host our Beans Talk Tours that are free to the public. The tours are a great way to: sample our products learn about our history tour the facility (a decommissioned firehouse!) see our work in-action, and hear from our CEO and a program participant. Our tours take place on the 1st Friday and 4th Thursday every month. You can expect a light lunch or appetizers to be served. RSVP is required. Please note: The Dec. 6th tour is taking place during our holiday open house. We will still have a tour but there will not be a participant available to share her story. However, the open house is a great event and still an opportunity to sample our products!
