WildSide presents the 15th Annual Sin City Soirée

WELCOME BACK to the WildSide!

As the Grateful Dead said; "What a long, strange trip it's been". In early March 2020, WildSide was on top of the world. We were on pace to shatter all attendance records as we prepared to welcome over 350 members of the VWS Family back home to Bally's for our 14th Annual Sin City Soirée. Then the world turned upside down and the unthinkable happened. Vegas SHUT DOWN and for the first time since 2007, there was no Sin City Soirée.

Devastated doesn't describe what we were feeling. It became as much a ritual as the sun rising for us to gather in May and celebrate our wonderful VWS Family; and now that was GONE in the blink of an eye. We did what we could and presented a week of Virtual VWS in May of 2020 but we all know there is no substitute for being with community and swirling in that VWS Vibe. But as is often the case with time and WildSide, it was not on our side. As we began to plan for what 2021 might look like, we realized that after studying the situation for months that there were just too many unknowns in the moment for us to feel good about safely bringing yall back to Vegas. Although, the idea of having to cancel the Soirée two consecutive years was just too much for us to stand.

So that leads us to today. As things seem to be opening back up; we are hopeful that we can all return to some semblance of normalcy. Were not trying to offend or step on toes but in speaking with our hotel liaisons, we saw an opportunity to save the Soirée in 2021 by doing something SAFELY at Halloween and we took it. So for the first time ever, WildSides Sin City Soirée will take place in the fall, happening on Monday, October 25 - Monday, November 1.

Unbeknownst to us, the group Diva Las Vegas had similar ideas and planned their event during that exact same block of time. WildSide and Diva Las Vegas have a long and storied history, so in the interest of community, we thought we would reach out and see if there were ways to collaborate. So you will notice some opportunities on our itinerary where well be cross-promoting DLV events.

While this time in our history has been unprecedented and we are all navigating new waters, we want you to know that WildSide will always remain the same community-building, friend-making social celebration of visibility for our community that weve always been. Were not sure what to expect in 2021 but one thing that will NEVER change is our commitment in presenting YOU with the opportunity to experience that special one and only WildSide love and support that we've all fed off of since day one. Come RE-connect with friends and like-minded people from all over to celebrate those life-long VWS bonds; and this year more than ever; those bonds are going to be amplified and electrified! Our Soirée is and always has been an empowerment party like no other. Because it's not only about connecting with amazing people, it's about connecting with YOU! Our lil Soirée is a non-judgmental, welcoming space for our trans and gender-expansive community. And YES our reputation as a big, loud, gorgeous, gregarious party remains 1,000% TRUE!

WildSide is proud to once again call Bally's Las Vegas Hotel & Casino the official home of the Sin City Soirée. As we navigate these interesting times, we'd like to thank Caesars Entertainment for their continued support. Bally's works directly with us to give you some financial flexibility by providing each guest with a special WildSide group hotel rate. Please note that this years Soirée takes place the week of Halloween. There will be VWS events planned for Fri., Oct. 29, Sat., Oct. 30 and Sun., Oct. 31; so this is your opportunity for multiple costume changes!
