Wilde is a Chicago-based 5-piece Band, founded in 2015 by Paul Palos & Timmy Briones. It began as an experiment to bridge the rich musical tradition of American folk and the gritty lyricism of urban rap. It has since morphed to incorporate multiple musical genres including: blues, rock, gypsy, and indie. Yet, at its core it remains a musical expression of Americana.
The Inventors formed in Chicago in the summer of 2014, drawing influence from a wide range of music. After two years of shows including two stops at SXSW in Austin TX, original drummer Grant Ossler left the band in mid 2016 leaving vocalist Joe Steffek to take on double duty as a drummer/singer. In mid 2017, Tommy Mendoza took the reins on drums, returning the band to a traditional four piece lineup.
The Edwards
The Edwards is a five-piece rock outfit comprised of members from a variety of other Chicago/New York music projects (Nativity Beds, Strange Foliage, Moonrise Nation, Torres). The band’s sound as been compared to the likes of Deerhunter, Wilco and Real Estate.
