Wheat Ridge Makerspace - Meetup

Join us as we create a makerspace in Wheat Ridge!

New Location! We will be meeting at The Localworks Offices located at Wheat Ridge United Methodist Church, 7530 West 38th Avenue.

At these meetings, we will be organizing pop-up maker-style events, identifying partners, and brainstorming location options. Plus! We will be growing our makerspace community. Join us!

Just so we have all our definitions in order:

A makerspace is a place where you can find the tools you need and a group of people that know how to do interesting stuff and have amazing mad skills that you can collaborate with to create new and wonderful things. We want to put together a place like that in Wheat Ridge. A place where technology, tools, teaching, art, and collaboration come together and results in creativity, innovation, and community. This place is called a makerspace.

To grow our makerspace community we will be meeting on Tuesdays from 6 to about 7:30p at The Localworks Offices located at 7530 West 38th Avenue in Wheat Ridge.
