Westside Nannies  partners with Save a Little Life to host CPR and First Aid classes for nannies, parents, and friends each month at the Westside Nannies Beverly Hills office. Save a Little Life is a well-known and highly respected company offering the very best in Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and safety classes.

CPR certification and knowledge of First Aid is expected of all professional nannies and is highly valued by parents. Maintaining certification demonstrates a nanny's commitment to professionalism as well as to the health and safety of the children in her care. Westside Nannies requires all caregivers placed through the agency to be CPR certified. Certification is valid for 2 years from the date of the class. This course includes use of an automatic defibrillator (AED). Upon completion, attendees will receive a Course Certification Card which is valid for 2 years. 

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Heartsaver ® CPR AED and First Aid are intended for individuals with limited or no medical training. Once completed, the attendee receives a course certification card valid for 2 years. This course includes use of an automatic defibrillator (AED). Upon completion, attendees will receive a Course Certification Card which is valid for 2 years. 

Skills are taught using research-proven Practice-While-Watching technique, which allows instructors to observe students, provide feedback and guide students’ acquisition of skills.

This course includes use of an automatic defibrillator (AED). 

Instructor: Terance Imbert. For the past 10 years Terance has been employed by the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he began working in the Orthopedics department and now works in Nursing Research and Development. A gifted instructor and valued member of the Save a Little Life team, Terance has a friendly, easy-going personality that exudes warmth and creates a welcoming environment for his classes.

The course is a one-time program, please allow up to 3 hours. Certification is valid for 2 years from the class date. Pediatric CPR and First Aid is the primary focus of this class (includes Adult CPR instruction). This is a custom-designed course that offers parents, caregivers and family members the best of Save A Little Life‘s most comprehensive Pediatric Certification courses.
