Got Weihnachtsmarkt? Enjoy the Holiday Market at Dovetail Brewery, December 17
Chicagoans who have had the pleasure of visiting Germany at holiday time know that it wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the local biergarten and a shopping stroll through the Weihnachtsmarkt, the traditional German Holiday Market.
This timeless German tradition comes alive in Chicago from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, December 17 at Dovetail Brewery’s Holiday Market, located in their upstairs barrelhouse loft at 1800 W. Belle Plaine at N. Ravenswood (773-683-1414).
The Holiday Market will feature craft artisans and food producers selling great gift items worthy of the season. Together with Dovetail’s excellent Holiday Bock Beer and accompanied by delicious German Stollen from Dinkel’s Bakery, Dovetail Brewery will be a great place to revel in the holiday spirit, German-style. You can also purchase a growler of Dovetail beer to take home!
At the market, Dovetail Brewery will feature its handsome collection of Dovetail logo merchandise, including glasses, steins, growlers, t-shirts, hoodies and more.

Using Polaroid SX-70 manipulations and digital infrared photography, award winning Chicago based photographer, Rossana Reformado takes stunning images to create beautiful, one of a kind prints, coasters, wood blocks, magnets, ornaments and pendants. The majority of Re4mado products are created from Polaroid SX-70 images using time zero film, which was discontinued in December 2005, making the products very rare and unique. About Dovetail Brewery
Dovetail Brewery, located at 1800 W. Belle Plaine in Chicago, Illinois, is a craft brewery owned by master brewers Hagen Dost and Bill Wesselink, specializing in delicious, balanced beers brewed using traditional German and Belgian brewing methods. Signature beers include unfiltered German-style lagers, traditional Hefeweizen, Rauchbier and Lambic-style sour beers. Dovetail Brewery also produces a variety of special seasonal beers.
Taproom hours are: Tuesday- 2 pm - 10 pm;
Wednesday- 2 pm - 10 pm; Thursday- 2 pm - 10 pm; Friday- 12 pm - 11 pm; Saturday- 11 am - 11 pm; Sunday- 10 am - 8 pm. Dovetail’s new Happy Hour Tuesday through Thursday from 2-6:30 pm.
The 22,000 square foot brewing facility includes an attractive tap room that is open to the public for drinking and retail sales. The tap room is also available as a rental space for private events.
Dovetail Brewery delivers beer by the keg to venues near the brewery and also to some select venues closer to the Loop. All bars, taverns and restaurants in the greater Chicagoland area that wish to serve Dovetail beer on tap are welcome to pick up kegs, in two sizes, at the brewery during normal business hours.
