Uptown Professionals Toastmasters is proud to announce that our meetings have transitioned smoothly into live-streaming format via Zoom online conferencing!
Meetings will be held from 6:15-8:00 pm every Thursday evening. Confirmed members and guests will receive an invitation in their inbox, every Tuesday. To join the mailing list, please message us! Additionally, if you need some help getting set up with online conferencing, please message us and we’ll be happy to help. Come check us out!
Our basic meeting format:
6:15 pm - Networking
6:30 pm - Welcome from our club president
6:40 pm - Introduce Toastmaster of the day and meeting functionaries
6:50 pm - Prepared speeches (usually 2 speeches)
7:05 pm - Table Topics (impromptu speaking)
7:15 pm - Evaluation of prepared speeches and meeting and Presentation of Awards
7:30 pm - Meeting ends (members help with room clean up)
After the meeting, members and guests are invited to stay and get to know each other better.
IMPORTANT: Not all of our members are on Meetup.com. The number of people who have RSVP d on Meetup is normally less than the number of people who will be at our meetings. Normally, 12-16 members plus guests attend on a weekly basis.
