Weekly Adult Grief Support Group - Meetings Every Thursday

Due to the current situation with the Coronavirus the physical meeting scheduled for this evening has been cancelled. Meetings will resume as soon as it is determined that it is safe to do so. **NOTE** There are three separate virtual meetings now. One for the Good Grief group, one for the Transitions (divorce)group, and one for the Grief Transitions group. Be sure to click on the link below for the meeting you wish to attend.

We know everyone is anxious to see and hear everyone, but please remember to mute yourself if you are not actually speaking. And you are more than welcome to use the video feature, but it is not a requirement.

If the response to this meeting is overwhelming we may have to limit the number of people on the call or ask for those who do not feel the need to speak remain muted.

The Meetup attendee count does not include the 20 to 30 people that regularly attend our meetings. Please stop by; there will always be support here.

If you are newly alone and trying to cope - by yourself - with the emotions of loss or grief, then New Beginnings Wellesley Hills could be for you. You will be with people who are, or have been, in the same boat as you. You may be having feelings such as anger, denial, shock, depression, loneliness, rejection, or abandonment these all are normal for where you are. You will be able to share how you feel in a safe place, and get support and comfort from others who have been there.

Our weekly meetings combine group membership activities with small group discussions led by trained facilitators. There is no fee to attend. Our typical meeting schedule is as follows:

5:30 PM - Meeting set-up. Any help is greatly appreciated!
6:15 PM - Newcomer Orientation; Social Time
6:40 PM - Announcements
6:45 PM - Support Discussion Groups
8:50 PM - Clean up. Any help is greatly appreciated!
