This webinar will focus on using social media to create and distribute your work in a way that engages the public and helps you build a stronger professional or personal brand online. The course will emphasize hands-on use of tools – both well-known and emerging – as a way to help you harness social media’s potential for your own journalism work.

About Delia Paunescu 

Delia teaches Advanced Social Media at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. She has led social accounts since that was a thing you could do (let’s roughly call it 2010.) She has worked on social media teams for Vox, Food Network, the New York Post, and was the first Audience Engagement Editor at Newsday and amNewYork. As a Senior Producer at NowThis, Delia also oversaw coverage of the 2016 Election and the Harvey Weinstein/Me Too scandal. Her writing has appeared in Elle, Vulture, Recode, Intelligencer, Racked, and Brooklyn Magazine, among others.
