For workshops in HS Labs: Follow path toward  Student/Welcome Center after exiting elevator to your left and following path. Then take a right in front of the Student/Welcome Centner, and walk to the HS building which is where path will dead end.  For workshops in San Rafael (SR) builiding: Follow path toward Student Center after exiting elevator to your left and following path. Then take a left  on Path at the Student center, then follow it winding down toward front of campus. You will pass Bookstore on your right. Before you get to Admin Bldg (end of path in front of you), San Rafael is the building on your left. Attend this workshop to learn how the pros design things that are cool and effective! 11/23/19 - UX Day 2:  User Experience Design  Learn techniques to enhance your WEB, App, and Digital Product Design and Interfaces: Research and analyze your competitors, learning from their successes and mistakes. 12/7/19 - UX Day 3:  User Experience Design Learn techniques to enhance your WEB, App, and Digital Product Design and Interfaces: Writing for WEB, Apps, blogs, and social media to attract attention, and keep users engaged.  1/4/20- Photography and Photoshop: How to prepare your photos for the WEB, for use in prototypes and entrepreneur presentations-and how to enhance the less than perfect images. Pre-requisite: (recommened but, not required) Workshop 1: Taking Photos with Your Smartphone. 1/25/20 - Business Card Design: Whether it's a DIY design or you're hiring a graphic designer, know the basics of designing & printing a branded business card that get you noticed and remembered! Bring your business name and idea! 2/8/20 - UX-4: User Experience – Data Analytics and Machine Learning This User Experience workshop will focus on  Data use in Retail, but we will have lab exercises to help you apply to your own projects the concepts of making use of data, the analysis of that data, and the potential for extending that data use via machine learning data analysis methods. This will be a concept and theory workshop - no coding / programming required. 2/22/20 - UX-5: User Experience and WEB-App-Device Production / Building / Execution (includes IX and Interface Design) IX, Information Architecture, is a component of UX addresses both the art and science of organizing and labelling websites, intranets, apps, software, but also any device.  Right now even coffee makers manufacturers and car manufacturers are hiring UX designers with this knowledge. This workshop addresses IX AND Interface Design from the standpoint of supporting usability for web sites and apps, but also devices of any kind. 3/7/20: UX-6 - WEB-App-Device  Management, Maintenance and Analytics.(includes CX) A new entry to the WEB "X" world is CX - Customer Experience. Today's WEB and app and software businesses realize that after their digital business is up and running, its continued success relies on a non-stop, evolving, analysis of how customers are using it - or not - and a strategic plan to maintain and grow those customers through analysis of their actions and reactions across every aspect of their relationship with the company and its products and services over the long term.
