The fight for justice for ALL workers goes beyond one elected official or election day.

We’re ready to take to the streets, raise our voices, hold corporations accountable, and say WE WONT BACK DOWN!

We reject attempts to tear America apart by race, ethnicity, and gender. We will fight against any efforts to block wage increases, gut worker’s rights, deport immigrants, or cut our health care.

Over the last four years, the Fight for $15 has inspired workers to come together and change the politics of this country around wages. We’ve won raises for 22 million Americans, including 10 million who are on a path to $15, but we can’t stop and we won’t stop fighting until all of us win $15/hr and has union rights.

Corey Johnson and the people involved in this are all leftist-commies!

Is that good or bad? Aren't rightist-commies the bad ones (like Stalin) ? I'm stumped. Please explain why we should care.

Troy Turton
-- 28/11/2016 15:45
They are already starting to talk it down to $10 an hour from what I heard/red.

Fast food workers in NYC are on the path to $15/hour in 2018 but we still need to keep organizing to make sure companies obey the law, don't try to cut hours and ensure fair scheduling with advance notice for all workers. The fight is far from over! We are also standing with our sisters and brothers around the country who have yet to win $15. See you in the streets tomorrow!

This is easily the most ill-conceived time of day for any event in NYC that I can remember. Guaranteed to ensure a small turnout. I hope you learn from this.

NYC is already heading towards a $15 minimum wage to the point that many companies and schools have already started increasing their wages to beat the curve. However, hundreds of black men are killed every year by police and with the recent election results, there is no sign of this decreasing. I ask you, is this "disruption" crucial right now, or is it a "disruption" of privilege?
