Kesho Wazo presents the second annual Wazo Fest produced for the youth, by the youth. This event is Portland's premier arts and culture festival showcasing local artists, musicians, performers, athletes and activists. Three days of jam-packed programming will help kids of all ages experience the city in a new light. We kick off on Friday, July 20th at Kennedy Park with a community blessing and mural unveiling. On Saturday, festival goers will enjoy a barbecue, skate jam and kickball game at Douglas field followed by an after party at the brand new Sun Tiki Studios. On Sunday, Wazo takes the center stage at SPACE Gallery for a full day of live hip-hop, r&b, trap and soul music. Wazo Fest 18 is guaranteed fun and inspiration for all members of our community. We can't wait to see you there.
