Plein air painters need to create interesting and pleasing compositions quickly, even during rapidly changing weather conditions. Paint Out artist John Gilbert will instruct the audience how to interpret the sky, light, clouds, and shadows to create an appropriate mood for the overall composition. He will also demonstrate how to set up a watercolor pallet based on the warm or cool color temperatures found within current atmospheric conditions.
