Beyond the Walls Scavenger Hunt Adventure Game: Muncie

SELECT THE DATE YOU WANT TO PLAY FIRST AT LEAST ONE DAY IN ADVANCEBeyond the Walls is a mix of a scavenger hunt, puzzles, trivia, and a self-guided tour where you walk to see things you have not seen and have a ton of fun at the same time.  You will be exploring the city as you enjoy answering challenges, taking pictures, and having fun.  Hints are available if needed and the scoring system will show you how well you are doing on the leaderboard.  Play on your smart phone or Ipad and have fun being outdoors and learn about the city you are either visiting and or live in.   The price is per team and not individuals.  A team is up to 5 players where you can each use your own smart phone or only one smart phone, that is up to you.   If you have any additional questions, please either go to https://www.getbeyondthewalls.com/qa.html or read the FAQs below.     FAQs: How can I contact someone if I have a question that is not answered in the FAQ?You may send an email to info@getbeyondthewalls.com, or call us at 800-454-3927.HOW DO I PLAY?Download the FREE app called "Beyond The Walls" App (Available on the App Store and Google Play) Does it matter how I sign in?You may sign in via Facebook, Twitter, or Email. Just keep in mind that if you sign in with Facebook the first time, then with Twitter the next time, we’ll think you are two different people. So go for consistency.Do the games have set start times?There are no set start times for the games. You can start whenever you like. We suggest you allow adequate time to complete location based challenges within daylight hours.Can I stop the game and continue later or play more than one game at a time?You may continue your games at any time by choosing the game you want to resume from the list of games and re-entering the password you were given when you registered. Then you can continue from your first unfinished challenge.How are points earned?Points are earned by completing unique challenges. Challenges may include completing GPS missions, answering trivia questions, or submitting photos or videos. Point tally and team ranking is available on the Leader Board.What devices are compatible with Beyond The Walls?Beyond the Walls is compatible with Android and iOS devices. Download our app via the App Store or the Google Play store.Can I play Beyond The Walls offline?No, Beyond The Walls is a location based experience and requires a data connection to play.​What do the different game formats mean?Route-based games have a specific point where you need to start the game. Then when you complete the challenges in order, the game will take you around the area in a set route as you see exciting landmarks, discover information about the area that will amaze you, and solve some puzzles. Route-based game descriptions on the website have information about where different games will start and stop, the distance you will walk, and the approximate time the game will take to play. Finish the route and compare your score to others who have played the game!​Scavenger hunt games are more open in many ways. Though there are boundaries within which the game is meant to be played, which are noted in the game description on the website, there is no starting or stopping point. Teams can solve the challenges in any order as they search the entire area for items in the list. Each scavenger hunt game will also have some questions that will require the players to find a specific item in that area, in order to answer a question. Find as many of the items in the list as you can to earn points and climb the leaderboard!Additional Tips:Make sure your phone is completely charged before starting. We also suggest that you lower your camera resolution before starting to save on data usage. What's the refund policy?We will accept all refunds as long as the adventure has not been started.  Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?No minimum age.   It is a walking game, so be sure each player can handle the walk.
