Walk the Puyallup Riverwalk Trail 6K/8K

Every Monday morning at 9:30 am we ll walk down the Puyallup Riverwalk Trail. Come early so that you will be ready to walk at 9:30 am. This is a volkssport event but we will only be walking a 6K or an 8K part of the route. Everyone is welcome to walk at their own pace. We ll alternate directions to walk each week. One week we walk 6K east and the next week we walk 8K west. This is an out-and-back route.

See the feral cats along the west part of the trail, spot carved bears up some trees, enjoy the Puyallup River, and the great tree carving at Veterans Park. The east route is quieter and also along the river.

Please park along the street as much as possible. We ll meet in the restaurant s back parking lot. Restrooms inside. Come prepared for the weather and walking. This walk is sponsored by the Riverwalk Committee of the Foothills Trail Coalition and Daffodil Valley Volkssport Assn.

Everyone must register before the walk. The club has costs to put on these walks so we ask for a donation. IVV/AVA credit is available at the customary fee.
