ABOUT VOGUE FEM
Voguing is a distinctive dance style that arose in the Harlem ball room scene of the 1960s, pioneered by black drag queens. Popularized in 1990 by Madonna in her "Vogue" music video and the seminal documentary "Paris Is Burning," voguing has gone through many styles and iterations. Vogue Fem is comprised of five major categories: Duckwalk, Catwalk, Spins and Dips, Hands, and Floorwork. Influenced by jazz, ballet, and modern dance, Vogue Fem is fluidity at its most extreme.
