On February 24, 2020, Cisco will release new certification exams. The certifications will be replaced by a new series of certifications.

The current exams won’t retire until February 23, 2020. But you need to have a backup plan in advance. If you have already started working toward the current certifications, by all means, keep going. In the new program, you’ll receive credit for work you’ve completed in the current certification.
