During this L&L we will discuss Mass Timber Construction. One approach to reducing the environmental impacts of construction involves increasing the use of materials with lower environmental footprints, such as wood. About the presenter: Presenting at the VIATechnik Headquarters, in Chicago will be Maria Laguarda-Mallo, PhD, Assoc. AIA, Project Manager at VIATechnik. Dr. Laguarda-Mallo, is an licensed Architect in Uruguay and Engineer specialized in Innovation and Mass Timber Construction. Over the past 9 years, she has published over twenty-five peer-reviewed, industry and conference proceedings papers and articles. and presented at national and international conferences.
This lunch and learn will take place at 1500 W Carroll Avenue, Chicago, IL. It will not be hosted online similar to a webinar. Lunch will be served.
