VENT Dance & Creative Session

VENT is a freestyle dance session designed to stimulate creative and emotional expression. It’s a space to unleash joy, move your body and connect: To literally “dance like nobody is watching.”

The regimen is simple: half freestyle dance / half creative stillness. It’s light. It’s fun. It’s therapeutic. It will leave you feeling 10 pounds lighter and 1,000 watts brighter.

PART 1: DANCE (approx 40 minutes)

Guided freestyle dance as a group. Get ready to groove to our dancy playlist!

PART 2: CREATIVE (approx 20 minutes)

After we sweat it out, there will be time to get creative with wrting, drawing or doodling, or sitting quietly.

FAQs

What can I bring into the event?

Bring some water and an open mind. 

Is the room dark? Will people see me dance?

We dance together in a semi-dark room, with some natural light. Think of it as "mood-lighting" intended to calm and open you. Even though it is possible to see one another, we all get into our own bodies and all movement is welcome and encouraged.

This sounds scary. Is it scary?

Definitely not! It's less like real "dancing" and more like playing. Our movement guide will get you running, jumping, strutting, waving your arms and legs and having the best time ever. It's freeing and tons of fun.
