In the spirit of exchanging new ideas, UXCamp NYC is an unconference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense day of discussions, presentations and interactions with people who love design.

UXCamp NYC is a one-day event with 24 45-minute sessions and workshops presented by thinkers and doers from all levels of experience. It is a day of gathering for people who are passionate about creating great experiences for people.

Come to UXCamp NYC for an intimate and exciting day of knowledge sharing about UX design. Hear new voices. Discuss new ideas. Get the scoop on new trends in UX design.

What is a session?

That's completely up to you. I can be a traditional presentation with slides, a panel or group discussion, or an interactive workshop. The only limitations are the 45 minutes per session an no obvious product promotion or sales pitches.

Never spoken in from of a group? Don't be shy. UXCamp people are a welcoming and safe community for sharing exploring new ideas from new voices in a supportive environment.

What's the day like?

When the doors open at 9 am, you'll get the chance to sign up to present a session. Anyone leading a morning session will introduce themselves at their topic at 9:30 am in 60 seconds or less. This is your chance to sell yourself, so make an enticing pitch.

Every hour on the hour, starting at 10 am, there are four simultaneous sessions with 15 minutes between sessions to share what you just learned, network, and decide on which session to attend next.

Lunch is on your own. Make the most of it by hanging out with old and new friends. After a break for lunch, we will return to the main space and people leading afternoon sessions will begin their 60-second pitches.

How will the day end?

At the end of the day, we will gather one last time in the main room to wrap up the day, and raffle off prizes from our generous sponsors.
