USAA ® Bank Mortgage’s VA Workshop details the process veterans can take to finance the purchase of a new home with a VA loan. Veterans will learn how to obtain a Certificate of Eligibility (COE), will review the preapproval process, and will discuss out-of-pocket expenses, closing costs and potential pitfalls to avoid. The goal of this educational workshop is to demystify the VA Loan process and to empower veterans during their home buying journey.

VA loans require an upfront, one-time payment called a VA funding fee, collected at closing, and is non-refundable. The fee is determined by the loan amount, your service history and other factors. A down payment on your VA loan may be required in certain circumstances and maximum loan limits vary by county.

Our mortgage loans have a $50,000 minimum loan amount requirement.
