Class Description
Traumatic experiences can change people’s brain and health development, the building and maintaining of relationships, and their world view. This class defines and discusses trauma and its impacts on people’s lives in the context of behavioral health care. Providers who understand how trauma can affect a person are better able to tailor services to fit unique needs and help build resilience.
