Imagine a world without cell phone allowing us to be connected to our friends (and enemies) every minute, without going to school and worrying if someone in your class has a weapon, or being so stressed out about grades, classes and afterschool activities that you suffer from anxiety. For many of us, that is what being a teenager was like for us, but unfortunately, the teens we work with face stress and pressures we never had to deal with when we were their age. Join Brenda Stubbs, Regional Program Coordinator for the March of Dimes NC Preconception Health Campaign as she shares her experience and talks about why our teens are so stressed and how we can talk to them about sensitive issues.
