Title of his talk:
Understanding and Preventing Fraud in the Digital Age

Description of his talk:
When you are inevitably hit by cybercriminals, the consequences could be catastrophic. If you want to learn how to protect yourself, then attend Drexel University professor Rob D’Ovidio’s presentation. An expert on electronic crime, Dr. D’Ovidio will explain how cybercriminals commit electronic fraud against people like you and me,and then teach you how to reduce your risk and mitigate the potentially dreadful consequences of a successful attack.

Three Reasons for Attending Talk:

1. End users and consumers will find that it is no longer a question of “if” they will fall victim to electronic fraud. Sadly, it’s a question of “when” they will fall victim.
2. The methods used by criminals to commit fraud in cyberspace are constantly changing. As such, continuing education is key to reducing the likelihood of victimization.
3. End-users play an important role in safeguarding themselves and their organizations against electronic fraud. Learn what you can do to reduce the likelihood of victimization.
