Understanding and Managing FICO Score

We all know how important our FICO score is in every aspect of our financial life
    - Buying a house     - Renting an apartment
    - Applying for a new credit card     - Taking out a car loan     - Quoting for an auto insurance     - Even while applying for a new job
But, do you know how the FICO score is calculated, and how you can improve your score (or at least not let bad decisions adversely impact it)?

Ruth is the founder of the Financial Education Services (www.fesexperts.com).  Her experience spans over 25 years in areas of 1031 Exchange, Real Estate sales, loans, foreclosures, bankruptcies, evictions, escrow title and now credit repair, debt settlement and business credit.  
Her mission in creating Financial Educational Services began because Ruth saw an opportunity to help people get out of tough and unfortunate situations, and guide them through consumer rights laws stopping pesky collection companies from attacking them.
