The College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability and Environmental Sciences (CAUSES) at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) is offering Propagation Clinics. Join us and learn how a seed begins its journey to becoming food on your table, plants in your backyard or your community garden. The clinics will cover the basic principles of vegetable plant propagation and serve as a general reference for herbaceous propagation. The hands-on clinics will also cover how to improve germination, potting mix/containers, watering, transplanting and preventing plant diseases.
The clinics are especially designed for plot holders at East Capitol Urban Farm, the 11th Street Bridge Park Plots, Hustlers to Harvester Farm and other urban farms around the area looking to start up seedlings for the 2018 growing season.
The clinics are free and open to the public.
