Tree Planting: McKenzie Trail

Leap for Nature: Tree Planting
The City of Fresno Public Works Landscape Division, City of Fresno's Keep Fresno Beautiful Campaign and Tree Fresno are teaming up to help add 180 trees along the McKenzie trail, and we need your help! Volunteer for a tree planting on February 29th and help beautify our city! There will be two separate workshops/start times available: 7:30am and 11:30am. All volunteers will check in with Tree Fresno at the intersection of N. Helm Ave. and E. McKenzie Ave. in SE Fresno, located at 275 N. Helm Ave. The tree planting will take place from 8:00am to 4:00pm, and will focus on the area between S Willow Ave. and S. Clovis Ave. Tree planting materials and training will be provided. You are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes, bring gardening gloves, sun protection, and a refillable water bottle. RSVP to Sara: Sara@treefresno.org or 559-221-5556.
