Tree Planting at Ashbridge Preserve-Spring 2020

Note: Tree planting will take place on three separate days: May 29, 30 & 31. Please note the date you are signing up for. You can sign up for one or more days, but you must register for each date separately. Click the "Select A Date" button at right to start.

We will start at about 9:00am and work until early afternoon. Exact time depends on the progress we make.

Join Willistown Conservation Trust for a native tree planting along Ridley Creek in Ashbridge Preserve. This project is generously funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation & Natural Resources and TreeVitalize.

our volunteer efforts will help us:

• Stabilize the stream bank

• Mitigate the impact of flooding and erosion

• Increase the preserve’s ability to store carbon and filter particulate pollution

• Improve the ecological value of Ashbridge Preserve

Suitable for participants of all ages, however children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please Note:

• End times may be flexible; depends on the progress we make each day.

• This event will take place rain or shine. Please come prepared with clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and wet!
