Tree ID Class

Join us for an opportunity to learn to identify that tree in your backyard. We’ll go over basic tenets of tree identification and practice your skills outside. Specific attention will be given to developing an understanding of the terminology and definitions of various tree-identification related terms. A couple of different resources will be explored to help you identify trees.

This class is another in the series of required classes to earn a ‘Citizen Forester’ designation. A $5 donation per class is encouraged. There is a 25 person cap for this class.

When: Tuesday, August 21st from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Where: Garfield Park
