Dr. Gabbett's advanced Training-Performance Puzzle Workshop offers a deeper dive into the factors that contribute to athlete wellbeing and elite performance. In this two-day workshop, participants will learn how to develop training programs so that athletes’ skill and physical performance hold up under the pressure and fatigue of competition. Participants will gain hands-on experience with wearable technology used by high performance programs, and also explore the differences in load capacity between adult and adolescent athletes. This workshop draws on the latest scientific information on training load, wearable technology, wellbeing, recovery, skill acquisition and physical demands while also providing ample opportunity for Q&A and to develop ‘real-world’ skills.
