The fourth Wednesday of the month will consist of a group trail run on the DeCamp Nature Trail at Edwin B. Forsythe Wildlife Refuge. This is a beautiful trail in Brick with great views of nature and the shore. We might even spot some wildlife!
The trail is 2.5 miles out and back. We will do a quick, 5-minute group warm up before beginning the trail. Run, jog, or walk at your own pace. The event will start at 7:00 AM sharp, so it is recommended that you arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to park and head over to the trail head. No equipment is needed other than a water bottle. Everyone should be able to complete the trail by or before 8AM.
Please note: it is recommended that you be alert when running this trail and watch out for uneven ground and debris to avoid injury. As we get further into the warmer months, you may want to bring bug spray for these morning runs.
