Towne Crier Dance Jam
Get On Down at the Towne Crier Dance Jam located at 379 Main Street, in Beacon. A vibrant mix of R&B, Latin, Soul, Funk, Reggae, Rock, Disco, Blues & more is played by DJs Rhoda and Al in the rear performance room. New songs are added at each dance, always aiming for the music to be moving, exciting and beautiful. Song requests welcome.
The restaurant specializes in mid-priced, farm-fresh cuisine using local ingredients whenever possible, and desserts are made fresh daily by acclaimed pastry chef Mary Ciganer. Full bar service is available.
The lights are low, the sound is full and the ambiance is warm and intimate. These dances are informal and even if you come alone, you can always find a friendly partner on the dance floor. Attire is whatever suits your mood - from blue jeans to dazzling sparkles. All are welcome: singles, couples, friends, strangers. Bring as many guests as you like. $10 Admission.
