Together Digital Twin Cities June OPEN Meetup - Ladder Up Series

What does it take to climb the career ladder? This month, our featured speaker will guide us in gaining an edge to land that spot on the leadership team or on the next big project. Hear from a prominent Minneapolis agency executive describe her journey to the C-suite and the lessons she learned along the way, as well as an agency and corporate maven on creating a successful start up while balancing her powerful tech-marketing company director role. Gain perspective on what it took to get to the next rung and what they want emerging leaders to know about the climb.

This month's meetup will be the second in a two-part series dedicated to giving our members advice and perspectives on how to Ladder Up in their professional lives. Join us this month to invest in yourself and plan out your next big move or accomplishment!

As Chief Marketing Officer, Niki oversees Fallon's business development and growth efforts for the agency's Minneapolis headquarters. She has been a key player in Fallon's business success throughout her career there. She leads teams to find new, innovative ways to change how brands get breakthrough ideas to land in the right context, furthering the competitive advantage for brands wanting to show up differently; develop strategies to secure new business and growth for Fallon; lead pitches; and ensure the Fallon brand transforms as quickly as the industry.

She has built her career trying to keep the line between media and creative as blurry as possible and believes collaboration between cross-discipline teams is the best way to invent breakthrough ideas. As an 18-year Fallon veteran, she's worked on a number of prestigious brands across a wealth of categories, with a focus on the financial sector (Citi, NYSE and Travelers Insurance), as well as fast-paced entertainment accounts (USA Network, MSNBC, MTV, Spike, IFC and truTV).

She is a mentor with MadWomen Minneapolis and a frequent judge at industry award shows including the Effie's and Adweek's Media Plan of the Year Awards. She's also earned several of those awards for her team's innovative approach to media communications including recent Cannes Media Lions, Webby's and Effie's.
