The orals presentation is a critical component sometimes required after down select. Being well prepared can make the difference between winning and losing.  Often seen as just another gate to pass it is often the difference maker in the government’s eyes. This event will you to prepare more strategically for upcoming bids requiring orals presentations. You will learn: 

  • How to prepare and respond to FEDSIM
  • How to successfully prepare for Orals
  • How to get C-Suite buy in for orals training
  • What specific strategies and techniques to use during an orals delivery
  • What is right way to answer the government’s questions
  • How to develop your slide deck 
  • When to fill the page and when to keep the message concise

I-95 North to I-495 North Rockville, Exit 170 B.  I-495 for 11 miles to left-hand side Exit 45.  Sign reads: Rt 267 W Toll Road/Dulles Airport.  Take RT 267 W Toll Road To All Local Exits. DO NOT TAKE DULLES AIRPORT ACCESS ROAD.  RT 267 W Toll Road to Exit 9B. Stay RIGHT and turn RIGHT onto RT 28 North (Sully Road).  Turn RIGHT at first exit onto Innovation Avenue.  Go 1 mile to Rock Hill Road and turn RIGHT Then see below. **
From Route 7:
Take RT 28 South (Sully Road), Exit at Rte. 606 East.  Go to stop light at Rock Hill Road and turn RIGHT.  Go 1.1 miles to a three way stop and turn RIGHT.  Then see below. **

From Central VA:

I-66 East to Exit 53.  Sign reads: Rt 28 Dulles Airport.  Proceed North on RT 28 (Sully Road) for 9 miles.  After crossing the Dulles Access and Toll Roads (Rte. 267), turn RIGHT at first exit onto Innovation Avenue.  Go 1 mile to Rock Hill Road and turn RIGHT. Then see below. **

From Washington DC:

I-66 West to Exit 67.  Sign reads: Dulles Airport to I-495 N Baltimore.  Follow signs for RT 267 W Toll Road To All Local Exits.  DO NOT TAKE DULLES AIRPORT ACCESS ROAD.  RT 267 W Toll Road to Exit 9B.  Stay RIGHT and turn RIGHT onto RT 28 North (Sully Road).  Turn RIGHT at first exit onto Innovation Avenue.  Go 1 mile to Rock Hill Road and turn RIGHT.  Then see below. **

From Dulles Airport:

RT 267 East (Toll Road to Washington) to Exit 9B.  Sign reads: RT 28 North to RT 7 Leesburg.  Turn RIGHT at first exit onto Innovation Avenue.   Go 1 mile to Rock Hill Road and turn RIGHT Then see below.  **
From Dulles Greenway:
From the Dulles Greenway take Exit 8B, Old Ox Road, (Rte. 606 East). Merge onto Rte. 606. Drive approximately 1.7 miles to stop light at Rock Hill Road and turn RIGHT. Go 1.1 miles to a three way stop and turn RIGHT. Then see below. **

**Final Directions from All:

**Go approximately 50 yards and turn into the entrance driveway for CIT (right).  Go to the first garage opening marked Visitors.  Press the speaker button and give your name so security can admit you.  Take elevator to P1.
